Decentralization-of-Wet-Waste

Decentralization of Wet Waste

The Mahabhaga OSC is an ideal solution to curb the alarming situation at Landfills in and around urban India. As prescribed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and as stated under the guidelines of the Swachh Bharat Mission, decentralization of Wet Waste Management is the key to modern waste management. Bulk generators producing more than 100kgs of wet waste are being mandated to convert their wet waste into compost at source, hence avoiding anymore burdening of landfills, where wet waste creates various forms of air pollution and water contamination that directly affects citizens.

From-Waste-to-wealth

From Waste to Wealth

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan envisioned by the Prime Minister has caught steam across India at multiple levels. Be it segregation at source or building toilets for all, the Swachh Bharat initiatives have penetrated right into our hinterlands. At Mahabhaga our aim is to take a step forward to support the Swachh Bharat Mission. We would like to see our country from being a waste generator to a nation with abundant Chemical-Free Organic Farming. Contributing to healthier lives of citizens, cleaner cities and happier farmers.

Farm-more-use-less-water

Farm More, Use Less Water

The key advantage of organic compost is that it increases the soil’s water holding capacity. Thus producing healthier fruits and vegetables, yet consuming less water. As organic compost breaks down, it improves the structure of the soil and increases its ability to hold water and nutrients. Over time, organic compost will make your soil–and plants–healthy and strong. The organic compost produced by the OSC process has been lab tested and tested on soil. We test our waste to compost periodically at laboratories as well as at our kitchen garden.
